About The Team
We are looking for two new Business Administration Apprentices to join our Local Land Charges Team.
The Local Land Charges Team is based within Policy, Scrutiny and Intelligence in the Chief Executives Department and is responsible for providing information relating to the conveyancing process for property searches, to customers such as solicitors, agents, professional bodies and members of the public.
The Local Land Charges Team process the official local authority searches - this is information held by the council relating to the property or land being bought. The Local Land Charges Department maintains a Statutory Register that needs data cleansing and we are keen to hear from apprentices who might be interested in mainly working on this role.
The Business Administration apprenticeship covers a wide range of competencies including organising events, delivering presentations and using bespoke software, helping you develop the skills that employers look for when hiring. By the end of the apprenticeship, you will have achieved a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship and gained invaluable experience and skills that will prepare you to succeed in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Data input, photocopying and typing - ensuring attention to detail at all times. Your Skills:
1. Communication skills
2. Accuracy and attention to detail
3. Competent user of computer software packages, in particular Microsoft Office packages
4. Ability to multitask and good record keeping
Essential for the Role:
4 GCSE's or equivalent (4-9 in Maths and English)
Applicants must be a Hounslow resident or former Hounslow secondary school student.
This post is considered by the authority to be a customer-facing position; as such it falls within scope of the Code of Practice on English language requirement for public sector workers.
